We meander thru the neighborhood of stately old homes in Asheville.
We make our way through the neighborhood near the Grove Park Inn. We then follow Town Mountain Rd. out to the parkway.
We head up Bull Gap to the Ox Creek plunge. We make our way through
Weaverville. We then head back to Jenkins Valley with a final push back to Woodfin Riverside Park.
This version of Ox Creek Plunge minimizes travel on Reems Creek Rd.

Ride out into the Green River Game Lands, returning to Saluda up the beautiful, iconic (and difficult) Green River switchbacks. Then do a 2nd loop down US-176 and return up Fork Creek Rd.

There will be multiple rides at different lengths and speeds that will be listed by the ride leaders. All rides will leave and return from Trailside Brewing in Hendersonville. Riders are invited to enjoy a complimentary beverage at Trailside Brewing afterwards.
B+ version of the monthly Cycle-n-Suds ride.
The route starts with a loop south of Hendersonville where we will tackle Pinnacle Mtn starting about mile 16. After a rest stop at Flat Rock Village Bakery at around mile 29 (the 2nd time past the bakery) we‘ll proceed to the northwest where we‘ll have rolling hills for the remainder of the ride.
There is only the one planned rest stop mentioned above although we will regroup as needed.
B version (15 - 17 mph average speed) of the Cycle n Suds "Lamb Mountain" ride;
Ride past Lake Osceola and the Carl Sandberg home to Flat Rock, then up and down Lamb Mtn before returning through apple orchards and Jackson Park.

There are two 35-mile routes on Sunday. This one goes through Flat Rock (the other 35-mile route goes near DuPont State Forest following the Old CCC Road).
Ride starts at Trailside Brewing, 873 Lenox Park Dr, Hendersonville NC 28739 through Jackson Park and apple orchards to Flat Rock. Then return past the Carl Sandberg Home and Lake Osceola.

This ride may include Cove Creek and Long Branch trails. We will regroup as necessary. Plan on 13 miles, 1700 feet climbing and 2 hours of ride (moving) time.
Start at Alexander River Park 2590 Old Marshall Hwy, Alexander, NC 28701. Runs from the river to Beech Glen Community Center and back.

The Redbud Ride is an annual bicycle ride that starts in beautiful downtown London, KY and stretches throughout the surrounding areas.
The ride is sponsored by the Walhalla & Westminster Rotary Clubs, w/ proceeds going to local charities that the clubs support. The race has 5 different lengths, from 30 miles up to the longest of 100 miles, which goes to the top of Wigington Overlook above Lake Jocassee! You are invited to the first Cold Mountain ride of the year (for some of us). Come out for one of the club‘s favorite rides with beautiful scenery as we ride along Lake Logan past Sunburst Falls then up to the Blue Ridge Parkway. Once on the BRB we ride for approximately 10 miles before a screaming descent on Hwy. 215 back to Canton. Optional mileage for an out and back to Pisagh Inn.

First Congregational Church
BRBC is partnering with the City of Hendersonville to encourage people to ride their bikes to Earth Fest! BRBC will be hosting a family ride.
Ride Starts at Hillman Brewing in Old Fort. Counter clockwise loop on OF/SH, Mud Cut, Goose Creek, then Nix Creek to VC/Down Filter Plant, Greenleee.

Guion Farm Parking lot on Sky Valley Road
The ride will include the newly reworked Grassy Creek and Turkey Knob trails. We will regroup as necessary. Plan on about 2 hours of ride (moving) time. Expect chilly temperatures in the mid 40’s at start.
A typical hilly northern ride at a middle C pace. We will finish at around 13 mph, but we will be below that due to the climbing until finishing with over 4 miles of downhill to take us to the posted pace. 27 miles, 2100‘ climbing.

This is one of the easiest rides in the club‘s repertoire. You will have to shift gears once getting in and out of Marshall. You can decide when to turn around to determine your final mileage. Round trip 25 miles to Ledges Park, 20 miles to Alexander River Park, and 15 miles to Walnut Island Park. I will be staying along the river and anticipate an 11 mph pace

Epic Cycles - Hendersonville
Starting Tuesday, April 30th, every Tuesday evening until the end of August, Epic Cycles and BRBC will be hosting an evening ride. Meet at 5:30pm at Epic Cycles – ride starts at 6pm. These rides are open to everyone.
